Description for models

Get the management report for a company: the profit-and-loss and balance-sheet figures the accountant has approved, per group and per ledger account, with the same period a year earlier for comparison and the closing cash balance. Amounts are in cents, as strings. Use this when the user asks how the business is doing, about revenue, costs, profit, or a quarter or a year in the books. Omit the period arguments for the newest approved year.

Sent verbatim in tools/list. It's written for the model, so it says when to use the tool.

Arguments

fiscal_yearinteger · 2000–2100

The book year to report on. Omit it for the newest year the accountant has approved.

from_periodinteger · 1–12

First period of the window, 1 to 12. Defaults to the start of the year. For a quarter, pass 1, 4, 7 or 10.

to_periodinteger · 1–12

Last period of the window, 1 to 12, and not before from_period. Defaults to the end of the year. For a quarter, pass 3, 6, 9 or 12.

Result

text
Success. The answer as plain text in content[0].text, starting with Company: and the company name.
isError
Refused or failed. A missing permission, an invalid argument or a server failure sets isError: true. The text says what went wrong and what to tell the user.
input
Company needed. With several companies and no workspace argument, the server asks which company the call is for. A client that can't ask gets an error that lists the companies.
